Read the letters in the new testament, and read them, especially Paul's, as partner letters, to people who had partnered with Paul in the things that he did. The message, of the Christ, is the message that Jesus preached. If Jesus was the only one that had the anointing, we could not get free from our burdens, because it is the anointing that removes the burdens and destroys yokes. You have the anointing in you to care for yourself and do the right Christian things. They were put on you when you were Born Again. This is your knowing anointing, and Apostle John talked about it when he said that you do not need to be taught what you know already. Use that anointing when you study the word, review it till you know for sure what it means.
There is also an anointing that comes on you, is something that comes in order for you to help others in a time of need. This is the anointing to minister. Jesus also walked in this anointing. He even said that the "Spirit of God is upon me to...".
Philippians 1
2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Be aware that Christ is not Jesus last name. It means the anointed one. We also have that anointing on us. We are the body of Christ - the anointing.
Grace is not just un-merrited favor, it is the putting of the Christ in us, peace is freedom from fear.
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
Equal part with a single endevor
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
Their church started in a jail that Paul and Silas were in, he was in bonds. He was in the anointing when he was in bonds. Even though he is in bonds now, he is listening to God and ministering to these people by letters to them. He is telling them that they are partakers with him because of their previous support of him. This should take place in our life today. The whole body should be able to partake of it.
This anointing is what he refers to in the rest of the book.
26 That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.
27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
conversation = way of life.
28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries:
You do not just combat fear and terrorism by standing together with your pastor in the ministry that he has. But do not mistake that with the Pastor playing God and the sheep are all his. That is not what this mean. People who pray, seek ways to bless the congregation, etc. are what we mean here. The big ministries need the pastors as well as the pastors need the big ministries. They should be striving together.
